In the 1951 our location was founded as Valley Motor Co. The Taft Family Trust owned the building until 1999.
In October of 1960 Dunlap's opened one of Farmington's first upscale department stores. Seamstresses left many notes about measurements, money owed, & phone numbers on the wall in one of our back rooms.
In the early 1980's Dunlap's closed when the mall came to town-and Inside Ideas opened a furniture store in our location. When Inside Ideas moved locations in 1992 BedRooms Plus opened as a waterbed and futon store. As of this post Valley Motor had been at this location for 9 years, Dunlap's for 23 years, Inside Ideas for 9 years and BedRooms Plus 24 years.
